There are many forms of exile:
Political exile from one’s home;
Moral exile from one’s values;
Spiritual exile from one’s most authentic self.
Let us take a moment to hold in our hearts
Those in exile from their own land,
As well as those in spiritual exile,
That they might follow the voice
Calling them home.
May we reach out to those in exile.
May we welcome all who are strangers in a strange land.
And may all who are in exile find a home.
May it be so.
