Somehow, despite our careful planning,
hours and days and weeks of meetings,
discussions, debates, workshops, seminars,
emails, texts, phone calls, videoconferences,
anxieties, frustrations, harsh words, apologies,
bylaws, guidelines, policies, processes, promises–
somehow, we still occasionally communicate.
